Escape routes via windows must be quickly accessible at all times in an emergency – at the same time, protection against unauthorized opening is essential. The AlertLatch window guard combines both: reliable security in everyday use and full functionality in an emergency.

Universal mounting & tamper-evident fastening

The AlertLatch window guard is suitable for windows or tilt-and-turn doors with left- or right-hand opening handles. A supplied cover plate reliably protects the mounting screws from unauthorized access and tampering.

Modern battery technology

The integrated lithium battery offers a significantly longer lifespan than the commonly used 9V block batteries. This ensures an extended operating time for the window guard without maintenance requirements, thus reducing operating costs.

Battery monitoring

A sufficiently charged battery is essential to ensure the protective function and thus the preservation of your valuables. Therefore, every window guard has internal battery level monitoring. The intelligent electronics check the remaining battery capacity every 30 days. If the capacity is only sufficient for a few more weeks, an audible signal sounds at regular intervals to alert you to the low battery level.
