The AlertLatch door guard is used to secure panic bars.

In an emergency, a single press of the handle is all it takes to open the door immediately. The door guard then lowers, releasing the handle. Simultaneously, a continuous audible signal sounds, clearly indicating the action.

The alarm can only be reset with the corresponding key.

Modern battery technology

The integrated lithium battery offers a significantly longer lifespan than the commonly used 9V block batteries. This ensures an extended operating time for the door monitor without maintenance requirements, thus reducing operating costs.

Battery monitoring

A sufficiently charged battery is essential to ensure the protective function and thus the preservation of your valuables. Therefore, every door monitor has internal battery level monitoring. The intelligent electronics check the remaining battery capacity every 30 days. If the capacity is only sufficient for a few more weeks, an audible signal sounds at regular intervals to alert you to the low battery level.
